13-Year-Old Vaibhav Suryavanshi Becomes Youngest Player in IPL Auction 2025

Vaibhav Suryavanshi Becomes Youngest Player in IPL Auction 2025: The world made history in the IPL 2025 Mega Auction held in Jeddah when 13-year-old boy Vaibhav Suryavanshi became the first player to be drafted by any franchise team. The big-hitting all-rounder was roped in for ₹1.10 crore by Rajasthan Royals, and this was a big achievement for the teenager hailing from Motipur village in Bihar.

Sanjiv Suryavanshi, father of Vaibhav Suryavanshi, said that he is very proud of his son and called Vaibhav not the son of the house but the pride of Bihar. Sanjiv’s actions, such as selling off relatively to fund Vaibhav’s cricketing dreams, show how the achievement described below was earned with a lot of effort.

Vaibhav, who is playing for India in the U-19 Asia Cup in Dubai at the moment, has been picking the selectors due to his mind-blowing cricket marvel from the initial stages.

And when Vaibhav was only eight years old, he was even scoring goals in the district trials of U-16, meaning he had the highest raw talent. They bought him for ₹ 30 lakh; he was auctioned, and the Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals were interested in bidding for him.

Finally, RR bought the young talent after he performed exceptionally in the trial by hitting three sixes during the match simulation set by the batting coach Vikram Rathour.

But something as simple as Vaibhav being selected in its history is not without controversy either. Sexual abuse accusations, which surfaced before his arrest, state that he is 15, not 13.

To these accusations, Sanjiv said, “He had a BCCI bone test at eight and a half years.” We have no issues with that; he is willing to have tests taken again.”

BCA president Rakesh Tiwary congratulated the young cricketer and maintained that Vaibhav had worked hard and was determined to succeed. IPL ness focuses on the immense cricket ness of our state as a remark from Tiwary, Vaibhav’s journey from Bihar to IPL.

This is the story of Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who was able to prove the fact that hard work, talent, and fostering young talents pay off. The fact that he is the youngest-ever cricketer to be part of the IPL means that his story is going to be an inspiration to hundreds of dreaming cricketers all over the country.
